Terms of Service

Acceptance
By using AppMetadataLocalization you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.
What the App Is
AppMetadataLocalization is a native macOS client that reads your App Store metadata from App Store Connect, generates localized versions of it using an AI provider you supply a key for, and writes approved localizations back to App Store Connect.
It is a tool you run on your own Mac against your own accounts. We operate no servers and hold none of your data.
Your Keys and Your Accounts
You need your own App Store Connect API key and your own AI provider API key. You are responsible for keeping them secure, for the charges your AI provider bills you, and for any activity carried out with them.
We recommend minting a dedicated App Store Connect key with the least privilege that works, which is the App Manager role. Do not use an Account Holder key.
AI Output Is a Draft
Metadata produced by an AI provider can be inaccurate, awkward in a given language, or non-compliant with Apple rules. The app therefore requires you to review and approve each locale before it is published.
You are responsible for everything you publish to the App Store, including its accuracy and its compliance with the App Review Guidelines. We do not guarantee that generated metadata will pass App Review.
Third-Party Services
The app depends on App Store Connect and on the AI provider you choose. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and their pricing, not ours, and changes they make to their APIs may affect the app.
Acceptable Use
Use the app only with accounts and apps you are authorised to manage, and only to publish metadata you have the right to publish. Do not use it to generate misleading listings or to breach Apple rules.
No Warranty
The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for lost or overwritten metadata, rejected submissions, provider charges, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Publishing is deliberately gated behind your own per-locale approval for exactly this reason.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
