Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using LifeSim, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
Use of Service
LifeSim is a text-first, choice-driven life simulator. Each character's story, across career, relationships, health, and money, is generated from a library of life events and your choices.
LifeSim has no accounts or sign-in. Your character and life history are stored locally on your device.
Fiction, Not Advice
Nothing in LifeSim, including its career, money, health, or relationship outcomes, constitutes real financial, legal, or medical advice. It is entertainment, built for storytelling, not guidance for real-life decisions.
Purchases
The core game is free and complete. Optional content packs and a one-time supporter unlock are purchased through the App Store and processed via StoreKit; we never handle your payment details directly. All purchases are one-time, and LifeSim has no subscriptions.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its own App Store refund policy, not by us directly.
Your Data
You retain ownership of your character and life history. Because it is stored entirely on your device, we neither receive nor hold a copy, and there is no server-side version for us to access.
You can permanently delete your data at any time from the app's settings, or simply delete the app. Since your data lives only on your device, this removes every copy.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse LifeSim. This includes attempting to access the service by any means other than the provided interfaces, reverse engineering the app, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
Termination
We may end your licence to use LifeSim if you violate these terms. Because LifeSim runs entirely on your device with no account, you can also stop using it at any time by deleting the app, which removes all your data.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post significant changes in the app and on this page. Continued use of LifeSim after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
